A Debreceni Canto Armonico énekegyüttes 1997-ben alakult a professzionista Debreceni Kodály Kórus 10 énekesébõl. Az együttes létszáma az elõadandó mûvektõl függõen 10, illetve 12 tagú. A repertoár a 11.sz.-i gregoriántól a 20.sz.-i mûvekig ível. Legszívesebben templomokban lépünk fel egyházi mûsorral. A társmûvészetek is vonzanak bennünket, így számos kiállítás, irodalmi est, filmbemutató ünnepi mûsorában szerepeltünk. 2001-ben nagy sikerû koncert körúton vettünk részt Norvégiában. A fegyelmezett, együttes éneklés öröme, a zene tisztelete, a zenei ízlésrõl és elõadásmódról való hasonló gondolkodás reményeink szerint még hosszú ideig összetart bennünket.
The Canto Armonico choir was founded in 1997 in Debrecen with 10 singers from the professional Debrecen Kodály Choir. The number of singers can be 10 or 12, depending on the works. Our repertoire ranges from 11th century Gregorian chants to contemporary music. Canto Armonico prefers performing sacred music in churches. The choir is also interested in other arts, so we have performed in several exhibitions, first runs, and literary programs. In 2001 we had succesful concert tour in Norway. We hope that the pleasure of the disciplined singing, the respect for music, our similar thought about the performance style and taste of music will hold us together for a long time.
